  IM SOOO ANGRY!!!!!!!

  i have not posted for a while and have actually not been on for a while but i have had to post cus i am just livid!!!.

  me and my husband and 2 children stopped going nearly a year ago after numerous issues, and basic doubts.

  while we were in the cong i had an 'incident' with a brother who claimed to love me and wanted to leave his wife for me.

  anyone know of any medication you can take to give you that 'i dont give a shit how you feel about me' feeling!???!!!

  I don't think there is a pill. What you need is something called self-esteem. Most Witnesses suffer from a lack of it and no wonder. The Watchtower keeps telling them that they are not doing enough to please them or Jehovie. You need to remember that most Witnesses aren't really your friends. They will only love and back you if your remain a good little JW. Who needs people like that in there life? If anything you should feel sorry for them. They are wasting their life trying to please an organition that will spit them out the moment they disagree anything they teach and then they will be in the same position you are in.

  Don't worry about it. Look how I spelled energy.

  It would definately help if they didn't build them along fault lines and I'd add along the coast (I live about 20 miles from the San Onofre power plant) but no matter what if something goes wrong the damage can last for centuries.

  I think the government needs to be involve in encouraging the developement of better sources of energy. There are too many opposing the developement of alternative sources for it to happen on its own. There wouldn't be seatbelts in cars if the gov. hadn't forced the issue. Same thing with air bags and better emission standards. Most companies will only do things when they are profitable or when are force to do them.

  About 35 years ago Jimmy Carter put solar panels on the Whitehouse. When Ronald Reagan came to office he had them removed. Who knows where we would be now if we had continued to look for alternative sources of energy instead of relying on on oil, nuclear and coal.

  i've seen a few threads/posts where some of y'all have heard from jw contacts and how they've stepped up their 'the end is close' rhetoric because of the earthquake/tsunami in japan.

  i usually take those things with a grain of salt.

  there's always some jw whose cheese has slipped that reads prophecy into every little thing that happens.

  But on days like 3/11 (or 9/11), it can seem for a brief shining moment that it might, after all.

  Probably a lot of dubs out in FS last few days. Each with a hopeful gleam in their eye.

  Yup. They've bet their entire lives on the Watchtower being right.

  Even when the monetary cost is discussed I don't believe that the true cost of producing engergy this way is factored in. Such costs as what to do with the waste? What is the cost of a leak or a melt down? Not just the immediate cost but in the future when the people who were affected by the this disaster start dying from cancer. The true cost of power plants in Japan is years away.

  they say the shunning they do is out of love...to try and get us back in...even if they know we just simply dont believe anymore...as long as we go sit in their building enough...we are back in...

  Well it ain't working! Maybe they should try money.

  That is a good question. I just thought that the doctors did what they felt they needed to do unless there were instructions like the JW blood card to do otherwise.

  I do believe Andy got more things right that the boys in Dubland but then again most of us have a better track record at predicting things than the Watchtower.

  I think the Watchtower did get one thing right when some time back around 1990 they prophecied that some day even the lowly janitor would have their own a cell phone, not just obnoxious yuppies in bars.....

  Maybe that wasn't them.......probably someone else said that.
